Oklahoma State at Oklahoma
When: 3:30 PM ET, Saturday, November 24, 2012
Where: Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, Norman, Oklahoma

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will try to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive when they meet in Norman on Saturday in the Bedlam game. With Kansas State's stunning loss to Baylor last week, the automatic BCS bowl bid which comes with the conference championship is up for grabs, although Kansas State will claim it with a victory over Texas - the fourth team still alive - on Dec. 1. The No. 13 Sooners, who are coming off a 50-49 victory over West Virginia as Landry Jones threw for a school-record 554 yards and tied his own school record with six touchdown passes, will be hard-pressed to stop the No. 21 Cowboys' potent offense. Oklahoma State snapped a nine-game losing streak to Oklahoma with a 44-10 victory last season.

TV: 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN. LINE: Oklahoma -7

ABOUT OKLAHOMA STATE (7-3, 5-2 Big 12): The Cowboys have won five of their last six games and scored 114 points in their last two contests. Oklahoma State's best chance may be to exploit Oklahoma's No. 87 rushing defense with the No. 18 ground attack led by Joseph Randle, who leads the Big 12 with 109.9 yards per game. The Cowboys own the No. 3 offense in total yards and scoring (45.4 points per game), and have the No. 6 passing attack despite using three different quarterbacks this season. Junior Clint Chelf, who took over after freshmen Wes Lunt and J.W. Walsh were injured, will start Saturday, but expect Walsh to see action in short-yardage running situations. The Cowboys allow 26.1 points per game.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA (8-2, 6-1): The Sooners have won six of their last seven games with their only blemish a 30-13 setback to Notre Dame, which has since ascended to No. 1. Jones and Oklahoma took advantage of a porous Mountaineers' defense last week and while Oklahoma State is expected to provide a more formidable challenge, its passing defense is No. 95 in the country. Running back Damien Williams, who is second in the Big 12 with 77.9 rushing yards per game, will take on the No. 24 run defense. The Sooners, who are 29th in points allowed at 22.5 per game, have forced 12 turnovers in the last seven games, including 10 interceptions. Senior strong safety Javon Harris is tied for fifth in the country with five picks.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Jones needs 170 yards in his final home game to move past Texas Tech's Graham Harrell (15,793) as the all-time Big 12 passing leader and 350 yards to eclipse Harrell's record of 15,611 yards of total offense.

2. Oklahoma State is 13-3 in its last 16 Big 12 road games, including 1-1 this season with a victory at Kansas and a loss at Kansas State.

3. The Sooners lead the series 81-18-7 and have won four straight at home. Oklahoma State has scored 40 or more points only five times in the series, but three times in the last four years.
