Daniel Sedin scored a power-play goal 46 seconds into overtime and added an assist as the Vancouver Canucks posted a 3-2 victory over the host St. Louis Blues on Thursday.

Alex Burrows tallied twice while captain Henrik Sedin and defenseman Alex Edler each notched two assists for Vancouver, which completed a 3-1-0 road trip with its 11th win in 15 games away from home.

After Blues captain David Backes was called for boarding late in the third period, the Canucks took advantage of a bad decision in overtime to pick up their fourth win in five games overall.

St. Louis' T.J. Oshie gave his stick to teammate Roman Polak, whose broke during the penalty kill, and rushed to the bench as he believed the puck was about to be cleared from the defensive zone. Edler instead got to the puck and gave it to Henrik Sedin, who set up brother Daniel for a one-timer from the right faceoff dot that beat Brian Elliott for the winning goal.

Burrows opened the scoring at 2:48 of the first period when he put a rebound under the crossbar from the left side of the net. Vancouver's lead lasted only 62 seconds as Jason Arnott converted a pass from Jamie Langenbrunner while on the doorstep to extend his goal-scoring streak to three games.

Arnott put St. Louis ahead 6 1/2 minutes into the second with a fluke goal. The veteran center backhanded his own rebound into Roberto Luongo, who lost sight of the puck and knocked it into his own net.

Burrows forged a 2-2 tie late in the period by tipping Edler's shot from the blue line past Elliott for his 18th tally of the season.

Elliott stopped 18 shots for St. Louis, which had won four straight overall and three in a row at Scottrade Center. The Blues, who began a five-game homestand, are 9-0-2 in their last 11 contests in their own arena.
