Kings 3, Canucks 2 (OT): Mike Richards tied the game with 2:54 left in regulation and Anze Kopitar won it 48 seconds into overtime as visiting Los Angeles stunned Vancouver.

Defenseman Slava Voynov dumped the puck in deep and - after beating a Vancouver player to it on the backboards - fed Kopitar, who wired a shot past Roberto Luongo high to the glove side from in close. Kyle Clifford also scored and Ben Scrivens made 37 saves while improving to 5-0-3 since taking over for the injured Jonathan Quick for the Kings.

Captain Henrik Sedin snapped a 1-1 tie with a power-play goal at 6:59 of the third period while defenseman Chris Tanev scored his first goal of the season for the Canucks. Luongo turned aside 19 shots as Vancouver fell to 1-4-3 in its last eight games while extending its point streak against Los Angeles to 10 contests (7-0-3).

Clifford started the scoring with 6:10 remaining in the first period when he finished a 2-on-1 rush by patiently slipping the puck past a sliding Luongo on his backhand after accepting a pass from rookie Linden Vey. Vancouver got the equalizer when Tanev's shot made its way through Dale Weise's screen and past Scrivens with 2:56 remaining in the second.

Henrik Sedin threw a shot on net and regained control of the puck after Daniel slid the rebound back to him and beat a sprawling Scrivens between the pads. Richards, playing in his 600th career game, collected a pass from Jeff Carter while standing all alone in front and squeezed a shot between Luongo's pads.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Carter was playing his first game after missing the previous 10 with a foot injury and logged 15:48 of ice time. He was replaced on the injured reserve list by Quick (groin), who is expected to be out until late December. ... The game turned physical after the Kings C Jordan Nolan put a big hit on Henrik Sedin as 60 minutes in penalties were doled out over the final half of the second period. Earlier, Daniel Sedin drew a minor penalty and proved to the referees he was high-sticked by showing them the tooth that was knocked out. ... Vancouver fell to 10-3-2 this season when both Sedins record a point.
