Alex Burrows and Chris Higgins had a goal and an assist apiece as the Vancouver Canucks continued to dominate Toronto, defeating the host Maple Leafs 4-2 Saturday night.
Daniel Sedin scored the game winner and added a helper while Jannik Hansen and Mason Raymond added goals for the Canucks, who finished off a 3-1-1 East Coast road trip by beating Toronto for the ninth consecutive time.
Joffrey Lupul, Tyler Bozak and Phil Kessel countered for the Maple Leafs, who have dropped six of eight.
After Higgins and Lupul traded goals early in the first period, Raymond gave the Canucks the lead in the opening minute of the middle frame. The veteran forward pounced on a loose puck and pounded it past Leafs netminder Jonas Gustavsson from close range for his third goal in six games since returning from a serious back injury.
Bozak evened things at 7:33 with a sensational individual effort, skidding to a backwards stop in the slot before flipping a backhand into the top right corner past Roberto Luongo.
Sedin restored the Vancouver lead 44 seconds remaining in the period, taking a Burrows feed and jousting it past Gustavsson on the short side.
Burrows put the game away with 5:54 remaining, gliding into the slot before wiring a shot in off the right post.
